Akbank NV offers a range of financial solutions, including financing, guarantees, remittance, fund settlement, trade finance, and foreign exchange fund business including derivatives.
Financial Institutions (FI) Department manages and develops the relationships with the correspondent banks in order to support Trade Finance and Treasury activities of the bank. For trade finance transactions, the department deals with banks, non-bank and other financial institutions in originating and structuring transactions.
The Department takes active role in diversifying the funding base of the bank through syndications, bilateral financing instruments and also creates alternative asset portfolio through forfaiting and secondary loan trading.
FI is the initial point of contact for investors and rating agencies and provides up-to- date information about the bank and its activities.
