Deposit Guarantee Scheme
Akbank NV is a Dutch bank headquartered in Amsterdam. Akbank NV has a general banking license from the Dutch Central Bank. This banking license regulates all banking activities on a consolidated basis within and outside the Netherlands. Akbank N.V. branches in Germany and the United Kingdom are covered by the Dutch Deposit Guarantee Scheme, which is executed by the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank).
Following the decision of the Dutch Finance Ministry on 10.03.2009, the deposit guarantee for savings is fixed € 100,000 per person. Therefore, your savings at Akbank N.V. are 100% guaranteed up to € 100,000 per person (For a joint account € 200,000).
