Mr. Bülent Adanýr

Chairman

Bülent Adanýr joined Akbank in 2007 as Supervisory Board member responsible for Risk Management. Prior to joining Akbank, he had held various responsibilities within Citigroup in different countries and geographies for 26 years. In 1997, he was appointed Region Portfolio Manager in London, Citigroup. Afterwards, he served as the Portfolio Manager responsible for Citigroup’s Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Adanýr received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in the United States of America. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from Rutgers State University.

Mr. Frits Deiters

Member

Frederik B. (Frits) Deiters joined Akbank N.V. in 2003 as member of the Supervisory Board. He was elected Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board in 2007. Deiters is a non-executive Board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Lombard International Assurance in Luxembourg and a non-executive Board member of BMO Nesbitt International Trading Corp., Luxembourg. In 2003, he retired as Executive Vice President of ABN AMRO Bank Amsterdam; his last position was Country Manager Luxembourg. Frits Deiters is a Dutch national and has a graduate degree Economics of the University of Amsterdam.

Mr. Ahmet Fuat Ayla

Ahmet Fuat Ayla joined Akbank as Corporate Branch Manager in 2002; he was appointed Corporate and Commercial Credit Approvals Unit Division Head in 2005. Two years later, he was appointed Executive Vice President in charge of Corporate and Commercial Credit Approvals. A graduate of Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Ayla began his career as a Management Trainee at Interbank and later served as the Marketing Department Head at Finansbank and Marketing Department Manager at Osmanlý Bank.

Mr. K. Atýl Özus

Member

K. Atýl Özus is a graduate of the Department of Business Administration at Boðaziçi University. Prior to joining Akbank, he served as an Audit Manager at Ernst &Young. In November 2000, Özus joined Akbank as a Vice President responsible for Financial Control and Risk Management; he was then promoted to Senior Vice President. In December 2007, Özus became Executive Vice President in charge of Financial Coordination.

Mr. Reþit Toygar

Member

Reþit Toygar joined Akbank as a Management Trainee in 1990. Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice President in 1998, he served as the Manager of the Treasury Department. Mr. Toygar is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at Kingston Polytechnic and holds an MS degree in economics from London School of Economics in the UK.

Mr. Eyüp Engin

Member

Eyüp Engin joined Akbank in 1978 as an Assistant Internal Auditor. Prior to his appointment as the Executive Vice President in charge of International Banking in 1996, Mr. Engin was the Manager of the Treasury Department and was appointed as the Head of Internal Audit in July 2007. Mr. Engin is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration at Middle East Technical University.
