Business System Analyst (Full-time)

Job Purpose:

Analyze, document and deliver reporting/business intelligence requirements and translate the requirements into solutions by delivering them at the agreed quality level and schedule.

Duties:

MIS Reporting Systems:

  • Identifies, analyzes and develops reporting requirements by working closely with IT
  • Supports and maintains MIS reports and repository
  • Trains business users for existing and new MIS reports

Business Consulting:

  • Provides consulting services to the business users regarding the MIS reporting systems and other related applications

Business Systems:

  • Analyzes and documents business requirements and translate them into solutions
  • Manages ad-hoc requests, small and/or medium sized projects
  • Creates modules, programs and systems where applicable
  • Performs quality control of IT/vendors developed systems
  • Keeps up-to-date with technical and industry sector developments
  • Works closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

Skills/Qualifications:

  • University degree in the relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Banking Industry and internet banking systems knowledge
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS and JavaScript, basic XML/XSL knowledge
  • Basic Knowledge of relational database concepts, Oracle, Ms-SQL servers
  • Working knowledge of at least one structured programming language
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence tools and technologies
  • Proven fluency of English, knowledge of German, Dutch or Turkish is a big asset
  • FlexCube UBS solution knowledge is preferred
  • Business Objects knowledge is an asset
